Region 1 - Panhandle Plains
The Panhandle Plains make up a the largest region in Texas and naturally encompass a wide variety of riding conditions. From hard, weathered trails surrounded by beautiful rock formations at Palo Duro State Park to rolling prairies at Lake Arrowhead State Park. Possum Kingdom offers perfect singletrack, while Caprock Canyons State Park Trailway provides a leisurely, albeit long, path that makes up part of the Rails-to-Trails system.
Note: MountainBikeTx.com only lists legitimate trails. We do NOT list bandit trails. If a trail we have listed is not a legal place to ride, please notify us immediately and we will look into it.
