Welcome to MountainBikeTx.com
"Your Texas Mountain Bike Resource"
With 170 Texas trail listings, including parks and privately-owned ranches; 185 bike shops; and more than 30 associations and clubs, we welcome you to the most comprehensive Texas mountain biking resource online or anywhere!
You
may not realize it, but Texas is arguably the greatest state to be in when
it comes to mountain biking. We may not have the classics, such as Crested
Butte or Moab; however, we do have an
IMBA Epic trail and when a single state offers the diversity that Texas
does...well, you be the judge.
From sandy beaches with nearby crashing surf, to true mountain descents amid large desert lizards; singletrack laced with an intricate web of slick roots as you barely scrape by an unforgiving hardwood, to singletrack covered by so many loose rocks that you struggle to keep your rear tire from losing grip as your legs curse at your desire to reach the next crest.
This is Texas mountain biking, and you wouldn't want it any other way.
