Due to a pipeline being installed, the West Loop has been signficantly damaged. A portion of the trails has already been rebuilt and the outgoing trail is complete; about 3/4 mile on the return trail needs some work to re-establish the loop.
Plans are to make simple connections to get the loop re-established as soon as possible and should be completed by this spring. For the time being the trail can be ridden using the pipeline clearing for the damaged portions. But with the rainy season having started, this is not advisable; unless you want to push you bike through the mud.
