Coleto Creek Park & Reservoir
BONUS TRAIL: Opened to the public in February 1981 for year-round outdoor recreation opportunities and access, this park consists of 190 acres, of which approximately 40 acres have been developed.

Kit McConnico Park
BONUS TRAIL: This park is primarily dedicated to team sports. This park has seven softball fields and eleven youth soccer fields. Restrooms and concessions compliment the area during league and tournament games.

Guadalupe Mountains National Park
BONUS TRAIL: This location safeguards the world's finest example of a fossilized reef, a surprisingly complex and unique assemblage of flora and fauna, and West Texas' only legally designated wilderness.

Davy Crockett National Forest
BONUS TRAIL: Offering visitors of this national park more than 50 miles of developed trails (though referenced as horse trails), it is one of the most recent additions to MountainBikeTx.com's trail listings.

Colorado Bend State Park
BONUS TRAIL: Gorman Falls, located at this park, is an impressive, 60-foot-high waterfall. The falls' travertine formations and associated lush vegetation are very scenic. Small travertine dams have formed quiet pools of clear water which support a variety of aquatic communities.

Mineola Nature Preserve
BONUS TRAIL: This 2,900-acre park is on the Sabine River in East Texas and was created to preserve a wetlands area for bird-watching, hiking, fishing, picnicking and other activities.

Tapatio Springs
BONUS TRAIL: According to their website, this place is internationally acclaimed & host to several State, National & International championships. Features include 8 miles of biking trails and an 800 foot climb.
