Rick, thanks, I appreciate that. Like any event, as long as everything appears smooth on the participants end and they had fun, it's all good.

I know there were more participants out there (I ran into a few here and there), but for whatever reason never uploaded their photos.
bluesrat, thank you for getting out there. And, like I said, that was part our goal - to get out and hit some new trails and I am glad it worked.

I didn't even think of it as being a potential "learning experience," so that's a welcome result - especially the appreciation of those who do trail work, and if it gets more riders volunteering, even better!
I also want to thank everyone else that participated (even those that for whatever reason didn't post up on photobucket - I know I ran into a few that were participating, but never saw their photos go up). I would love to see a larger turn out next time, after-all, you're out doing what you would be doing anyway! Granted, you might do a little more driving in the process.

Now the bad news...I'm not sure when the next time will be. I've had several emails re: doing one in 2010, but unfortunately, it looks like I'll be in Korea come Sept. for a year. I can only imagine how difficult it would be coordinating with sponsors and such from half way around the world. lol The next time I plan on starting earlier in the year, as well, so skipping a year (maybe two) might be of benefit so I can do just that (without the next starting on the heels of the previous). Rest assured though, as long as the sponsors are there, we'll keep doing it.
Thanks!
