Getting into Texas Red Dirt

Over the past year or so I have really been getting into Texas Red Dirt. I have really gotten into Wade Bowen, the Great Divide and Eli Young Band. I have not been able to stop listening to their latest album, Jet Black and Jealous since my friend at umg gave it to me. My favorite song on the album is "When It Rains" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztHNs_b_sy0 . Check it out if you don't already know it and let me know what you think. I'm definitely interested in hearing some Texans perspectives on the band and genre being as not a whole lot of people out here in CA have even heard of either!
